THERAPEUTIC MODALITIES
COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a common type of therapy that can help you become aware of negative thinking patterns so you can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them more effectively.

EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUES (EFT) & TAPPING
This technique focuses on meridian points to give balance to the mind-body connection and relieve symptoms a negative experience or emotion may have caused. Learning this tapping technique can help with reducing symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, and insomnia.
PERSON-CENTERED THERAPY
This form of therapy allows us to go at the pace of the client while increasing self-awareness, improving the client’s ability to use self-direction to make desired changes, increasing clarity, improving self-esteem and boosting the client’s self-reliance.

EYE MOVEMENT DESENSITIZATION AND REPROCESSING (EMDR) THERAPY
This is an eight-phase trauma treatment model that comprehensively addresses negative experiences that have overwhelmed our ability to cope naturally. As a result, we have developed negative beliefs surrounding the traumatic event, traumatic symptoms effecting our present, and/or harmful coping strategies that are no longer effective. Through EMDR therapy, bilateral stimulation is utilized to help clients reprocess traumatic information until it is no longer psychologically disruptive.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
This evidence-based approach assumes each individual possesses a variety of sub-personalities, or “parts,” and attempts to get to know each of these parts better to achieve healing. This requires the client to explore themselves deep within and be willing to be curious without passing judgement.
